Since the question was posed here, a few messages back, "Do you seriously believe that President Trump will be incarcerated within the confines of a criminal correction facility?", I am going to opine.

I think it's unlikely. I wouldn't be surprised to be seeing DJT becoming a defendant in lawsuits and criminal cases brought by New York State Attorney General Letitia James and New York County District Attorney Cyrus "Cy" Vance, Jr., involving white collar violations and crimes such as tax evasion and bank fraud. I still think it's unlikely that DJT would be sentenced to imprisonment, even if there were to be judgements or convictions in these (as yet hypothetical) cases. I think it's more likely that DJT's "wallet" would be "taking the hit."

As unlikely as DJT's imprisonment, however, I think it's even more unlikely that DJT will be sworn in again as POTUS on January 20, 2021. In the words of South Dakota Senator John Thune, I fully expect that Team Trump's "Hail Mary II" will go down like a "shot dog" when they try (or make a pretense of trying) to have Congress overturn the Biden votes in the Electoral College and create a second term for DJT.

In fact, I think it's more likely that the New York Jets will win two in a row and improve their record to 2-13, than for DJT to be getting a second term. Although I don't know if the Jets are playing in the upcoming NFL week or having a bye. I don't want to check. I'm still following one of the games that was played on Sunday and I don't want to inadvertently see the outcome.
