DVD Shrink was an application that I often used years ago to re-compress commercial DVDs that originally required two discs to fit onto one burnable disc. Although DVD Shrink did a very good job with the re-compression, it was still obvious that the image quality took a dive. However, I agree that DVD Shrink would be a good application to use if it's used to make an identical copy of the ISO files from a DVD.
