Actually, I do remember the Republicans resisting the changes that the Democrats tried to push through Congress.
It was all Constitutional and above board.
Perhaps you could enlighten the group as to the unethical moves made by the GOP during those times?

The 25th Amendment has been the law of the land for 53 years and yet NOT ONCE in all that time has any Republican, or Republican majority, in either the House or the Senate attempted to screw around with the law like the Leftists have.

It's also worth remembering a little history since current Leftists are so notoriously BAD at it.
In 1919, DEMORAT, and founder of the "Progressive" / Marxist movement in this country, President Woodrow Wilson suffered a massive, debilitating stroke that left him in a coma for awhile. He spent 17 months near death and was a barely functioning invalid thereafter.
ALL communications with the President went directly through his wife Edith, who effectively ran the entire country for the remaining 2 YEARS of his term.
The Demorat White House and the press never told the truth to the citizens of the country.
They even considered running Bolshevik Woody , the virtual vegetable, for a 3rd term but finally decided that they probably couldn't get away with the scam any longer.
So it's not like Leftists don't already have plenty of experience playing fast, loose and dishonest with the American people with regard to presidential fitness for office.[This message has been edited by randye (edited 10-11-2020).]
