Realizing very few actually give a damn, I thought I'd report that today, my new paddles arrived. Tomorrow, I expect the regulation table. But, I could use some help getting it up the stairs to the bonus room.
Any of you think'n you can whup me, bring it on. I haven't played ping pong in years but, loser buys the beer. (Don't worry about that beer, I can't stand the stuff.)

My regulation table arrived this morning. With glee I helped the FedEx driver unload it. My Lord, this thing is heavy.
No such luck getting the FedEx driver to help me put it up stairs in the bonus room. Grrr.....
No one from this group showed up either. No, don't worry about it, I managed to work it up the steps, one step at a time.
Damn, did I mention this thing is heavy!
OK, it's upstairs now and I open it up in great anticipation.
Says some assembly required.
OMG! Some assembly required my arse. This is gonna take me all day. Yeah, I'm slow.
Oh well, gotta get to it........ Unless one of you wants to come put a puzzle together.
Didn't think so.

The smooth surface thing; My Father and I used to play Ping Pong back in the 70s on the patio, which was exposed aggregate cement....That dang ball would bounce straight up and down...Until you reached for it, and then it would go every which way....We'd end up laying on the ground laughing and my Mom would come out to announce dinner, see us and ask "What the heck is wrong with you two?"
Do they make a weather-proof table that would be able to sit outside?

They advertise weather proof outside tables. Can't speak to those. Mine is an inside version. The tables meant for outside are significantly more expensive based on what I saw in my research. But, my search focused on inside regulation tables so, I could be wrong.

Depends on which version you want to see.
One where I can actually return a serve or one of me making a fool of myself.
Getting the first one mentioned one might take a while.
I'm no Forrest Gump.........
