I realize this is a different model, but nevertheless it's a Ford e-truck. BC couple sign an agreement to pay the dealer $101,625(Cdn) for an F-150, and put a deposit on it... but then the price is raised another $10,700 before they can gain delivery of it.
That's a lot of money for a freakin' pickup truck!

Maybe not quite 10K on all of them, but the ones that are for sale, like on autotrader, etc, are going for at least 5K more than msrp. Supply and demand I guess, or people with plenty of disposable income buying them up new and reselling them for a profit. I think if you don't want to be way overpaying and can wait, you can order new through Ford and get one by early next year. They seem to be a decent truck, but their main appeal is the fuel mileage, with both engine options. They're still not exactly what I would call a compact size, like the pickups of the 90s and older. I have a frontier and it's just slightly bigger than this maverick.
