Some of the comments were perhaps four years early, but prophetic all the same.

"Unfair treatment of President Trump in the (mainstream) media" ... where have I seen that before? Oh--right here on Pennock's. Like about 1,000 different times. (In so many words.)
I just want to use this opportunity to say that there are those of an opposing persuasion--say Democratic Party "aligned" or "leaning Democratic" or "Center-Left" or "Left of Center" or "Purple Leaning Towards Blue" or even 100 percent "Blue"--that have said (and will perhaps say again at some future moment) that the (mainstream) media was too accommodating towards Presidential Candidate Trump and did not fully fulfill their journalistic and investigative reporting obligations to expose his weaknesses and drawbacks as a choice for President, vs Hillary Clinton.
I think I could count myself as part of that same entourage, that have said and might again say that, about the (mainstream) media and Donald J. Trump. I've certainly had that thought.
A few hours ago I heard someone describe (via the medium of cable TV) the current day Republican Party as kind of a three-legged stool or tripod. Or a Chorus In Three Parts. The three fundamental octaves being voiced by President Donald Trump, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, John Roberts.
That same person went on to venture that Senator McConnell and Justice Roberts probably aren't all that sorry to see Trump supplanted by Biden in the Oval Office. If that's what is about to be certified as the tallying of votes continues. With the proviso that McConnell is able to retain the Republican edge in the Senate, even past January and the one (or possibly two) runoff elections for Senator(s) from Georgia, come January.
I think that was an intelligent and insightful remark. But I can't be 100 percent certain, because I'm not like Pennock's forum member... well, I'm not going to be that explicit!
