So says this latest CDC report (referring to my previous message here), the way I read it between the lines.

In other words, if you don't like restrictions on public activities and don't like masking requirements, you should like raising the population percentage of Covid vaccinations and booster shots. More freedom for public activities without face mask requirements—"Yes, please." More people working the production and supply chains without being interrupted by doctor visits and hospitalizations because they are getting symptomatic infections of the Omicron variant—"Yes, please."

They're saying, Do it or else...
That's what is written between the lines.

They declared a state of emergency to do this. A 99.85% survival rate does not require a state of emergency.

Kinda, sorta, almost....

The cops put up concrete barriers on every single side-street and access to Huron Church rd.

It's one giant no-way-out funnel from the end of the bridge to the 401. Business along there are pissed nobody can access them, locals are pissed the city has been cut in 1/2, and all its going to take is one single "emergency" to shut the whole thing down again for a long time. One car or truck fire and EMS/EFS has no access, it will burn itself out before they get to it, and it will take months to re-build the road.

It has GOT to be the worst, stupidest, dumbest, back-yourself-into-a-corner planning in the history of mankind. About par for liberal thinking.

Besides, the 'Mericuns now have the other side of the bridge **** the mandates.

The convoy didnt have to permanently disrupt the city, the cops did it for them !!

You might be correct, might not have been a real good idea to block that port of entry in the first place.
The bolded/underlined part is absolutely correct. But they were and were promising to stay there. I guess permanent can be defined a few different ways.

It certainly wasn't a good idea to issue shut-down mandates for a relatively innocuous disease....

If you'll notice, I have not addressed that issue. What the Canadian government did is a Canadian thing.
I don't support the vast majority of mandates on this side of our border.

Of ALL the ports of entry currently blocked/slowed down, wonder why THAT is the only one to receive any attention ? All the rest they are simply routing around the protest.

Wouldnt have ANYTHING to do with all the auto sector factories along that corridor, would it ?

The rest of the country....Meh, whatever. Leave it.....but dont screw with the single biggest source of tax income in Canada.

Has there been a power outage where you're at? Did the lights just come on or what? Pretty sure I mentioned commerce in a previous posting.
