According to this latest reporting from the CDC, it is not about the spread or contagiousness of Covid—it's about blunting Covid's impact on Emergency Care and Hospital System resources and facilities, including the strain on the medical workers themselves. That's (my) reading between the lines to understand why the CDC wants an even higher percentage of the population to be fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid. And here's the latest reporting from the CDC:

Exactly, 2 weeks to flatten the curve, right? I mean 2 weeks plus 2 years. But what is 2 years of lockdowns and mandates to friends? No problem. Just print some more free money and give it away. Inflation? What inflation?

Further increasing the percentage of fully vaccinated and boosted individuals would translate to being willing, or sooner being willing, on the part of public health officials, to do away with restrictions on what people can do—lockdowns and limits on public gatherings and events—and on masking requirements.

So says this latest CDC report (referring to my previous message here), the way I read it between the lines.

In other words, if you don't like restrictions on public activities and don't like masking requirements, you should like raising the population percentage of Covid vaccinations and booster shots. More freedom for public activities without face mask requirements—"Yes, please." More people working the production and supply chains without being interrupted by doctor visits and hospitalizations because they are getting symptomatic infections of the Omicron variant—"Yes, please."

I don't think Delta has been entirely eradicated yet, either, in the United States.

Covid vaccines and booster shots are inherently anti-inflationary.

I don't just play a Pennock's forum member on TV. I am one.

I think you have swallowed the hype - all the hype (COVID, politics, media) - hook, line and sinker.
