I don't know for sure, but I think there might've been a misunderstanding. Anyway, no harm done.

Canadian revolution
decades overdue

"At the time of the Revolution they became Sovereigns unto themselves, with none to govern but themselves."

you would think that those who are moving all over the place would be the people you'd want least likely to be driving around spreading disease....

but, hooray for politics.

If you think this is about spreading disease then you haven’t heard a single word spoken.

LOLOLOLOLOL, Thanks man, for the laugh.
You do realize that the butt of your joke is tat the CDC says that the (mandates) vaccinations do not stop the spread OR contagiousness of covid.

According to this latest reporting from the CDC, it is not about the spread or contagiousness of Covid—it's about blunting Covid's impact on Emergency Care and Hospital System resources and facilities, including the strain on the medical workers themselves. That's (my) reading between the lines to understand why the CDC wants an even higher percentage of the population to be fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid. And here's the latest reporting from the CDC:

quote
Booster shots of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines lose substantial effectiveness after about four months — but still provided significant protection in keeping people out of the hospital during the omicron surge, according to a study published Friday by the [CDC].

"Booster effectiveness wanes after 4 months, but showed 'sturdy' protection against hospitalization, CDC study shows"
Lena H. Sun for the Washington Post; February 11, 2022.

This new article can be freely accessed by anyone. It's not protected by the Washington Post subscribers paywall. And it's about a study that was just published today (February 11, 2022) by the CDC:

"Waning 2-Dose and 3-Dose Effectiveness of mRNA Vaccines Against COVID-19–Associated Emergency Department and Urgent Care Encounters and Hospitalizations Among Adults During Periods of Delta and Omicron Variant Predominance — VISION Network, 10 States, August 2021–January 2022"

SUMMARY

quote
Vaccine Effectiveness (VE) against COVID-19–associated Emergency Department/Urgent Care (ED/UC) visits and hospitalizations was higher after the third dose than after the second dose but waned with time since vaccination. During the Omicron-predominant period, VE against COVID-19–associated ED/UC visits and hospitalizations was 87% and 91%, respectively, during the 2 months after a third dose and decreased to 66% and 78% by the fourth month after a third dose. Protection against hospitalizations exceeded that against ED/UC visits.

which is why I finished it off with "hooray for politics"
because it appears that is what matters, not the spread of disease.
