I'm not really a baseball fan, but I had the Blue Jays/Dodgers game 5 on the radio last night. Pretty impressive that after three pitches, THREE pitches(!)... the Blue Jays had two home runs and therefore already had enough runs to win the game, which finished 6-1 for the Jays.

I'm not a MLB fan either but, I was at first confused due to the thread title and tried to determine who the players were and from and unfortunately I was looking for Leaf's players.

So, I decided to try and find out where the Blue Jay's were from. Turns out, both LA and the Blue Jay's have one Canadian on their teams.

Blue Jays have way fewer Canadian players than you'd expect

Doesn't really matter, I was just curious. If this was one of those games played on ice, I'd expect a whole bunch of Canadians but again, I don't watch those either.

Still sore about the loss, more miserable now that it's blowing snow, sleet, rain, adding to the general malaise here in TO.
Why, if it wasn't for the Leafs, we wouldn't be so masochistic and feel worse than we normally would,
conditioned to accept the inevitable losses, again and again, since, like, '67,
I remember, it was glorious ! I was dating a young girl at the time, we were in love, it was a wonderful spring, mod fashions, the Beatles, swell times.
