If you still use a wired smart phone - or a thumb drive for your music - you may find this useful.

I alluded to my console-compartment-mounted USB jack, in my previous post.
I have decided to do away with that completely, for now. There are other options available if I decide that I need it later on, which is doubtful.

I found this on Amazon. It is - theoretically - sized perfectly to fit in the nearly useless cigarette lighter/power socket hole in my dash.
It'll be here tomorrow. (The head unit has two USB cables. One for data and charging, and one for charging only. This should work nicely.)
