Right now many places have IT problems due to CrowdStrike failure. Any news outlet & more have more. Example: Speedway near me were closed today is likely why.
Doesn't affect most consumer PC etc but killing many business systems.

Ron, very good question.
I have brand new parts of all sorts of which I didn't meticulously label.

Well, found another new in the box filter today. It's Purolator "Boss" filter, Part # PBL14461. Still not getting the Rock Auto site to do anything but, if someone wants it, just speak up. You can have it for the cost of shipping/mailing it.
I believe it may a filter for the 3800 SC Fiero I had but, there's no guarantee.

It appears that RockAuto will only list the applications of part numbers if they actually have that item in their parts inventory. Stands to reason I guess. That latest oil filter part number shows up on eBay with literally dozens (hundreds?) of Japanese and Korean car engine applications.

Interesting, I've never owned any of those.

Went through the entire list, never owned any of those. Hmmm. no idea at this point. Guess I'll take it to the part store where I took the other seven filters. Oh well, it is, what it is.

I would probably throw them out anyway Ron IF they are very old. Filters with paper media, the paper degrades over time just sitting on a shelf. How much time is debatable but not worth the risk IMO. Tried it once with a nos tractor oil filter I had on a shelf for several years and came to regret using it.

Good advice. Thanks. Regardless, your comment got me to thinking, it very well could be a filter for the Ford 1210 Diesel tractor I had. Sold the Tractor when I got my Kubota 3301. The Ford 1210 had a three-cylinder diesel engine made in Japan if I remember correctly. Regardless, putting it in the trash.
