I don't know about most stupid commercial, but the most stupid tag line ever was, "Mellow Yellow. . . There's Nothing Mellow About It"

I could've just linked the old Donovan tune... but this seemed more interesting!
[EDIT] Just for the heck of it, I did a search on YouTube for mellow yellow commercials... and there are a ton of them (mello yello) dating back to the 80's. I never even heard of this drink before.[This message has been edited by Patrick (edited 07-08-2024).]

I never realized that Mello Yello was more of an east coast regional thing. They are (were?) a big sponsor in NASCAR and Drag racing. In "Days of Thunder" Mello Yello was Tom Cruises sponsor, and then they sponsored Kyle Petty in real life.
