My parents had a Honda Accord with mechanized seatbelts.... As it turns out, if you tried to start the car with the sun visor turned to the side, the belt would catch it and snap it clean off! Eventually the visors were broken on both sides and no they never get them fixed. I hated driving that car.... It was a base model with no passenger-side mirror and with two broken sunvisors visibility sometimes was awful.

My car has a button on the dash that says "CAT", but when I push it I don't get a cat.

Do you get a........>>DOG<< when you push that button? (Maybe there is a recall to fix the button)

My 87 Fiero GT's radio does something strange, If you hit the volume up & down buttons at the same time, it goes to FULL VOLUME instantly, scared the heck out of me. I've only done it once, I quickly learned my lesson not to do that again.

My wife's van has that Emergency Automatic Braking, or whatever it's called. A complete pain in the azz.
The problem is that if you are approaching someone going the other direction, in a curve, the van will "see" that other car, and think your about to hit them, and it SLAMS on the brakes.
Honda says "Operating as designed. NTF."

Her Jeep has "stop/start". Also annoying. If you slip it into neutral (manual trans) and stop, it will stop the engine. As soon as you step on the clutch, it will restart the engine. Wonky as hell.
Theoretically, it can be disabled by pulling a fuse, but I haven't looked into it yet.

My Ram pickup has a rotary gear selector knob. All well and good. Except that if you are trying to back up and need to open the door to look and see what you're doing, it will immediately pop it into park, and apply the parking brake. I get the reasoning behind this, but sometimes, if you live on a farm, you NEED to do that.

That's enough, for tonight.
