Thanks... and thank-you for mentioning one of the audio files uploaded to the PFF server, as actually there's a problem with these files playing back, or not playing back to be more precise. I've asked Cliff to have a look/see what's going on.

Hmmmm, for me everything in this thread plays fine...

If it's intermittent, it might be because the library for playing audio is loaded from an external site. If that site is slow or down (since I'm guessing tens of thousands of sites are using this library), it might not load properly.

Cliff, the audio files started playing back properly eight hours ago, just before I went to bed. I figured you must've fixed the problem.

So, when will AI be on "The Voice"?

I'm sure computer Geeks really get into this but, I'd much rather listen to and watch real musicians play and sing.
Edited: The term "Geeks" is not intended as an insult, I simply lack the vocabulary or know of a term more applicable.

Don't be so sure that it'll never happen.

It's not just "computer Geeks" who are into this. If you think modern day singer/songwriters aren't already taking advantage of this technology, you're only fooling yourself.

I have mixed feelings about linking to a video done by this particular YouTuber. He's definitely at the leading of utilizing AI, but IMO he's starting to push the boundaries regarding what YouTube will allow to be uploaded. Yes, these are all computer generated images, but looking over his library of videos, he obviously has a fixation of sexualizing very young looking girls. It'll be interesting to see if he (and other YouTube AI creators) eventually cross a line and YouTube is forced to restrict their videos in some fashion. I selected the following video by this particular YouTuber not only because a lot of the AI imagery is very well done, but the AI generated audio track has kind of a funky feel to it, in a good way.

Never questioned it, I simply don't care. I'm more concerned about the criminal things AI can be used for.

Edited: Just came upon this, don't know if this is AI or not, could be a spoof for all I know but.......................

Even the uber woke (but well informed) Adam Neely knows it ain't gonna fly.

I think if nothing else, AI generated art (whether that be music, images, movies, etc) will force human artists to pick up their game. Not every artist is a good artist, and the general public up 'til now has grown used to a lot of substandard schlock. Now that the average Joe/Jill can easily produce their own schlock via AI, true artists with substantial talent (and maybe even with a bit of AI inspiration) will hopefully rise to the top and be more appreciated by the masses.
