My wife Jane is in hospital with heart problems (Page 2/4)

Thanks all. She is doing better today it appears, no chest pains anyway but heart cath scheduled for tomorrow morning. It should tell a lot more.
Cardiologist came in this afternoon and surprisingly, he happens to be my own cardiologist tho I've only seen him twice since moving here and that was just an annual exam/stress test and to renew my meds.

Thanks ALL!! She was released late yesterday afternoon and I brought her home with a big bag of new medications for her and followups scheduled with cardio and internal medicine. Heart cath showed very minor blockage but another test procedure again showed some kind of electric connectivity problem in the heart, which I don't pretend to fully understand and I don't even know where her ALDL port is and after 29years, I thought I knew her pretty good....

And fittingly, yesterday marked 29 years to the day we had our 1st date.
I remember it easily , as I had to explain to her the significance of Apr 21 (that all real Texans know automatically)

The 'electrical' part of the heart condition is usually solved with a procedure called 'catheter ablation'. My wife had the procedure done 20+ years ago. Just last month one of my sisters had three done along with a pacemaker install. Sister was home two days after the procedure and feels great. The pacemaker is on an APP (what isn't) and is remotely monitered by a service out of Houston. She's in Md. I trust Jane is in good hands and the she and you will be with us for the long run.

I guess she is not from New York. You would have got a rope, .

I am happy for you both.

Born on a US Army base in Georgia, raised mostly somewhere called the quad cities.
(Evidently, in the Quad Cities, (where ever that is) everything is perfect, all the food is cooked and seasoned exactly right, the roads are unblemished with nary a pothole, the weather is calm, just warm and cool enough year 'round, and no humidity with exactly enough rain to keep a lawn green and the insects are all good insects that would never think of biting a person or animal.... )
