Whom should they clone...and WHY? (Page 2/3)

I'm thinking Brigitte Bardot.

The one we've got is kind of starting to look a little worn out.

I agree with Todd for once. Cloning someone doesn't guarantee at all that the clone will "think" along the same lines as the original. I might also have to agree with Willie that cloning beautiful women may be the way to go (so there are plenty to go around)... although they may also all turn out to be total b!tches.

Like liberal feminists with fast-track law degrees ????.....YYYeeeeehhhhh....BTDT. We sure as hell don't need any more of them.

Sounds like it's time to watch The Boys from Brazil (1978), with Gregory Peck, Laurence Olivier, and James Mason. It explores these issues and was well done ...

I think I'd vote for Ben Franklin, due to his boundless curiosity and contributions to so many areas of life. But whoever 'they' choose, if/when that project is Officially Sanctioned, I feel certain that human cloning has been and is being actively pursued. Remember, it is always easier to ask for Forgiveness than for Permission.

Was going to say Benjamin Franklin- but Notorio beat me to it....

Another idea>>>>Barbara Eden.......

oh hell. here comes the
"let's make the turkey our National Bird" cry again......

He did have some interesting ideas on sex, marriage and extramarital adventures..
5. Because in every Animal that walks upright, the Deficiency of the Fluids that fill the Muscles appears first in the highest Part: The Face first grows lank and wrinkled; then the Neck; then the Breast and Arms; the lower Parts continuing to the last as plump as ever: So that covering all above with a Basket, and regarding2 only what is below the Girdle, it is impossible of two Women to know an old from a young one. And as in the dark all Cats are grey, the Pleasure of corporal Enjoyment with an old Woman is at least equal, and frequently superior, every Knack being by Practice capable of Improvement.

6. Because the Sin is less. The debauching a Virgin may be her Ruin, and make her for Life unhappy.

7. Because the Compunction is less. The having made a young Girl miserable may give you frequent bitter Reflections; none of which can attend the making an old Woman happy.

8[thly and Lastly]3 They are so grateful!!

Thus much for my Paradox. But still I advise you to marry directly; being sincerely Your affectionate Friend.

There is an awful lot that I would like to say right now... but as I've gotten older, I've tried my hardest to hold my tongue.

I will say, when I was a kid, all of the "I Dream of Genie" episodes were re-runs. I grew up in the 80s, so they were long-overdue re-runs. But oh my God, I loved that show, I watched every one I could when it would come on Nick at Night. And even at the young age of ~11, I could not understand for the life of me why he didn't just go nuts with that girl. I questioned whether or not he was gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but perhaps it explained his apathy towards her. I mean, she basically threw herself at him constantly... in every way, and he asked for stupid stuff, and then... said he didn't want stuff. I know he was an honest Air Force (whatever he was, Col maybe?), but come on man...

Tony Nelson was an Air Force/'astronaugh't Major.........not to be confused with a modern major general........

He and Jeannie eventually married and had a son.
See, I dream of Jeannie 15 years later.....

I believe he is talking about a movie done in 1985..."I Dream of Jeannie...Fifteen years later"
