Sure, there was plenty of bickering goin' on, but I'd rather have than then what we have now. I miss the "characters" , but not the stress they caused Cliff.

*40 lbs now, I've been seeing a nutritionist, and they have helped a BUNCH.

Some who were banned were here only to spread hate and discontent. Others, for whatever reason, simply self destructed.

But in each case, they were driving away those who were here for the legitimate purpose of the forum. I believe that a significant portion of the decline in participation is a direct result of those who try to start an argument in every thread.

Some lack the maturity to understand the difference between a discussion and a fight. You don't have to prove anything to anyone, let it be.

Let's just have fun.

I too, once had 5 Fieros at the same time. 4 out of 5 were automatics. All 4 cyls.
1. Silver 84 4spd. My daily driver for several years.
2. White 84 SE (our 1st one, which was my wife's driver from 1999-2008)
3. Two Indys. (1 mine, one for Jane)
4. An 88 4cyl (red) that I gave less than $300 for and would start and run for a few seconds but had a terrible knock. Broken crankshaft..I never did anything with it and gave it to someone else on PFF)

I can no longer get in or out of a Fiero, divested myself of the last Indy in 2016 I think. Can barely get in n out of wife's little Dodge Dart II.

Have owned a total of 22 Fieros (all but one were 88s), all notchbacks (I just never cared for the GT body), 4 cyl and 6 cyl. Have helped convert just about every engine swap except an LS swap, no desire to go there. A motorcycle crash a few years ago ended my wrench turning, also moved and no longer have that shop with the lift so, I simply enjoy the efforts of others now for the most part.

Bought a Solstice convertible and now have one Valkyrie trike, a Valkyrie Cruiser and a Valkyrie bar hopper. I don't go bar hopping but, it's fun to ride.

Reference the old, banned members, not my house and I don't get to make the rules. If I did, once banned, it's a done deal. It's not like there wasn't plenty of warning.
