I'm going to miss the Queen. She was a source of stability in a rapidly changing world during my entire lifetime. Charles III has some big shoes to fill but I suspect he will follow her into glory in the next 5 years. Then it's William??

Every instance of James Bond 007, from the 1953 novel to the latest movie, No time to die all served under Queen Elizabeth II.
70 years of queen and country. [This message has been edited by htexans1 (edited 09-26-2022).]

Now that the Queen has passed away, it would be an excellent time to completely abolish the monarchy. I can't believe in this day and age that this nonsense is allowed to continue.
I'm old enough to remember having to stand at attention at the start of every school day while "God Save The Queen" was piped into the classroom over the PA system. This was back in the early 60's... and this was in Canada, not England! Thankfully, this brain-washing attempt had no effect on me... well, not the intended effect.[This message has been edited by Patrick (edited 09-27-2022).]

The only time I ever listened to "God save the Queen" was after "Bohemian Rhapsody" on the Queen album "Night at the Opera" (Brian May doing a number of Guitar tracks to create the proper sound)
I don't think anyone should be treated special based on their lineage.....I judge people based on their actions...most people born into wealth, etc are spoiled, miserable little morons.[This message has been edited by cvxjet (edited 09-26-2022).]
