Do you have any E15, 88 octane pumps around you? Up here they are at least 25c cheaper than normal E10, 87 octane. The higher the price rises, the bigger the price gap is, E15 is around 35c cheaper now. Been filling up my 2014 daily driver Chevy Cruze with E15 for 170k miles... No problems yet.

If you do the math 170k miles / 40mpg x 25c/gal = $1062 I have saved on gas. And thats worst case scenario with the lowest price difference and the higher summer time fuel economy. If I factor in my lower winter mileage I will save more $$. 170k miles / 35mpg x 25c = $1215. Then what about factoring in higher price gap 170k miles / 35mpg x 30c = $1457

And they are not going to take away premium ethanol free for lawn equipment or classic cars.

I don't know where the post was, but I think years back someone said that E85 took 1.5 efficiency compared to regular. I cannot recall the discussion or thread. The information given though after I threw it into real world, meant that it had to be 33% cheaper to equal out in cost per mile.

Anyone recall that thread?

Anyone ONLY running 100% in everything?

I don't think I ever ran E85 in my 6.2L Super Duty. I for sure never did in any of my older vehicles that didn't say FLEX. I was running PURE only in my L67, AMG, motorcycles, boat, and lawn equipment. Basically anything boosted, performance, or rarely used. I might have ran it n the Honda CRV if it said FLEX, but I can't recall now.

I actually might get into that myself. It is relatively easy to get free crap. Parts are plentiful and not too pricey. Lack of maintenance and care in my experience is why most people's things break down on them. Financially is it decent to him?

I don't have enough information to be informed, but this seems legit to me.

It doesn't burn as efficiency. It needs to be, 1/3 cheaper to equal same dollar per mile. I am trying to find the thread where someone posted specs and I did the math. It was in 2016 I believe.

How is that progressing? Is it just for future manufacturing? It would sure stink for some of my hobbies if they banned use of existing ones.
