Cliff,
I'm no expert on this but, I'm thinking they expect it to enter a low orbit which will cause the rocket to crash into the dark far side of the moon

Not exactly. It's not 'turning around' in the usual sense. It's chaotic 3 dimensional orbit will finally take it so close to the moon that it will be drawn down closer to the surface of the moon and the moon's gravity will do the rest.

It's just been going hither, tither and yon, wandering aimlessly (kinda like a few PFF OT contributors) and now, The Great Gawd luna is callin it home.

unlike the original thing...

I do think for some the term in the dark may fit referring to "not illuninated" in the sense of "not seen".
But yea Pink Floyd could be blamed for most misconceptions probably.

Such sweet solos

Yeah, what he said.

Just so you know, I'm not lost, I'm exploring.

Now that we settled that, can you tell me where I am?

Well, it turns out that the recalcitrant rocket, the misguided missile was mistakenly marked as made by Musk. Perhaps it caught some sort of bat virus...

Space junk piece set to hit the moon is likely from a Chinese rocket, not SpaceX

Launched by Wan Hu should know better.
