I bought a used Montgomery Ward for $50 and sold it 5 years later for the same or more. I only like upright. The chest you never know what you have.
I bought another much newer for the same price used and same deal. They have virtually no resale value.
Edit. I'm an idiot. I read freezer. Sorry work has been long today.
Edit 2. Oil ones are my only experience. I'm sure I bought them used also.[This message has been edited by ls3mach (edited 12-10-2021).]

Very similar. It'll heat a place in no time. I figured him being a New Yorker he doesn't have a very large space to heat. Plus fuel.

I guess it is moot. Someone one will be along to explain just how dangerous those are, as well as any other kind of heater. But, he lives in a metro area with 8.8 million crazy people, a city with one of the highest number of covid deaths and cases in the country and he rides the subway to work and back, so I have to wonder just how worried he might be of a heater. Best bet, is he buys a couple new pair of long johns, and a new pair of insulated coveralls and pray he doesn't die of heat exhaustion before he gets to work or back home in the evening.
