December 7, 1942 (Page 2/2)

I am going to ignore the subversive, anti-American rants of a madman child and pull this train back on track.

Many of us have not forgotten, even though most of us were not yet born. My parents were only 11 and 12 years old and it was 13 years and 14 days before I was born, but Dec 7th has always been a reminder of what could happen and how far some are willing to go, for good and evil.

There are now adults who have no memory of Sept 11th. That is hard to imagine.

December 7, 1942 was the birth date of the American composer Jonathan D. Kramer (1942-2004), remembered for "Notta Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion."

quote
NOTTA SONATA FOR TWO PIANOS AND PERCUSSION says two contradictory things: this piece is not a sonata, and yet it is a sonata whose name is NOTTA. Which is it - a sonata or not a sonata?

"Some people did something"
Those that forget history... or something along those lines.

RIP

"Madman" defintion: asking who was the enemy then and who is it now?

Surely there is one backbone here who won't cower? One? Maybe?

This day should serve as a poignant reminder or a valuable lesson regarding the evil of which man is capable.

The answer still appears to be, no. Not one man among you.

Lowered my US Flag to half staff at sunrise this morning. Yeah, I know there are rules about that and know about Sen. Doles passing.
No, I didn't forget.
