Again, I may agree with some of this but not all. The government workers unions certainly have a strangle hold on the tax payers, but other unions have devastated entire industries. And it can be said that unions have cost ALL Americans money in practically every aspect of our lives, sense for example truckers have unions that increase the cost of transport. What is most egregious? I guess that depends on more focused questions and scenarios. I do not believe that the cost of taxes from the Government OR the fat salaries and benefits packages to the unions are paid for solely by the employer,...it is always past down to the people paying for the bill, services and goods.[This message has been edited by Rickady88GT (edited 10-24-2021).]

All states should be "Right to work" states and the justice department needs to do something about the unholy alliance between unions, organized crime and the government. But, I guess saying "organized crime and the government" is redundant.

Rickady, if a gov employee union is negotiating with a gov employee to decide benefits and pay, that's wrong one step higher than non-Gov employee unions negotiating with any entity including government as one of the entities.
Local police unions, enh, that's more palatable then national teacher's unions. Those should be abolished.

I understand what are saying. The short answer is that it is wrong for unions to donate to Politicians just to expect a kickback. I think it should be illegal for unions to donate to political campaigns.
