Our year old washing machine started doing the "Nr" code on its screen mid wash, and then wouldn't finish the load. I Googled and tested things with the multimeter, and it's the water valve on the rear for the cold water. I swapped it over with the hot water valve until I can get a cold one delivered, and all our wash continues to be washed in cold water only. Now for the months long wait for China to get one made so it'll also break in about a year. >_<

Remember when the USA as a nation had the can do attitude and made thigs here that we need?
Now we don't even make our own beer, OUR OWN BEER!!!!!!

Yep, around Christmas 2022, you can get (maybe) a brand new 2021 model...

I have been waiting four months for an American made refrigerator with no target delivery date in sight. I guess I don't feel so special now.

I seem to remember the stories of the old Soviet Union / Bloc where people could save up nearly a year's pay and then order themselves a new Lada or Trabant automobile, (two of the worst pieces of crap ever built), and be hopeful that they might receive it..... within a couple of years.

add 3 years to that. It's why the Soviet Union had all those Five Year Plans...

In the late 80s early 90s you got a choice. A loaf of bread or a new Yugo.

I would choose the bread, it would last longer.
