Not that way, at least not in this country. Any company that tried that crap here would find themselves sued out of existence.

Dunno where so many of you guys down there ever got that idea that you are responsible or liable for somebody else's actions, but ya'all really need to shake that stupidity right outa your noggins.

Surprised they didn't drop support all together.
I know they charge more for smokers, they call it a discount not an increase. Just raised everyone's rates and then gave non smokers a discount. Wait for it.

Are you employed with a company that has health insurance and carry Kim on your policy? If not then obviously different rules apply. Of course, those are the way it's done here. Can't speak to what Canadian rules are.

Careful there, smoking or tobacco use is done by folks that made a conscious decision to live an unhealthy lifestyle. They get to pay extra for that decision.
Kind of sounds like other heath decisions some folks make. Some and I expect eventually all will pay more for their health coverage.

It was just an observance about one of the problems related to capitalism and government intrusion into the health care system.
Yeah, I expect someone will chip in with ad hominem junk without explaining how the scenario you fairly and accurately described is actually good.
