One of the most horrific wrecks I've ever seen/heard. (Page 2/2)

****ing be safe, look around and put your ****ing phone down.
Its not a race track and the only winning is getting home alive.

I have looked into more dead eyes than I have ever wanted to. Worst one was a jack ass running a red light and all he could say over an over was he killed his brother. That was the last time I had to climb into a wrecked car, lets hope it stays that way.
I do not run red lights, ever. I even slow down for new green lights because of that.

I can't say the driver of the pickup ran through the stop sign but, my guess is he did and most likely either didn't look and see or mis-judged the speed of the semi.
It wasn't pretty. Not much else to say on this. I've seen my share of injured and lifeless bodies. It never gets better and I doubt I'll ever get used to it.
Spending a lot of time on the road, I see people all the time that think they own the road and driving like idiots. Not respecting trucks with loads can and often does result in devastating consequences.

Judgment is definitely not one of your attributes, at least good judgment isn't.

Took part in a medical experiment with unknown lasting health impacts while telling me when I'm laying dying in the hospital I'll wish that I did what he did.

What's my response? I hope you survive the reckless decision that you've made.

You may be right but, someone needed to step up and do it. Don't worry about it, you don't have to thank me.

****s like that are why I look both ways when crossing a one way street.

I have had my share of accidents, thank God or Budda (it really doesn't matter to me who you thank) I am still here. 3 of them were bad enough that I lost conciseness but knock on wood so far I have walked (hobbled) away from those.
Don't push my luck anymore than I have too now.

Most of that involves 2 wheels or 4 legs (at least for me). I have a list of emerg room visits as long as your arm. I managed to stay out of them for 9 years by mostly staying away from that stuff. (Hold ma beer and watch this).

Until I got home with a 2-wheel something strapped in the back at 1am this morning.

Hold mah coffee. Lets see how much I remember.

Those kids in the 70's who knocked their teeth out on the handlebars of CCM choppers, jumping them on plywood and brick ramps in the middle of the road ? Then went and did it again ? Did ya REALLY think they would ever change ?
