Sorry to hear this Jake. Sounds like he was a good man and loved his family.
(Many of us here know a 'rocket scientist', right here on PFF. JScott, tho he rarely posts any more and has in the last few years moved on from Houston's NASA Johnson Space Center facility and he is now doing 'other stuff'.)

Yes I have chatted with JScott. I have never sat at his table and ate Christmas dinner.

I have dined with him several times and he has been to my home.
Someday, probably sooner than later I will pass on from this world. I hope there will be at least one somewhere that thinks and speaks as highly of me as you do your friend.

yesterday, I spoke highly of you.
I also found it "charming" that you needed to drill holes in some gas bottles and wanted to know what caliber to use.
Monday was disbelief, Tuesday just raw and today acceptance as there is with everything eventually it will just take time for the sting to go away.
I can not see into his mind and was not there for the last 5 years. There will be more to the story I am sure but its not up to me.
RIP Brother I will pray for your family.
