WOW, can you imagine 200MPH sitting on a bay door and seeing the ground drop away as the jet lifts off. What about the pilot hearing the banging and cries for help, switching the doors closed? I assume the plane is full of people? They had to hear the people outside as well? The people hanging on must have hammered dents in the sides to get there attention?

Grandpa Gropey OWNS this debacle no matter how much he tries to blame Trump.

Not sure how long these will stay up....
Webcam overlooking the Presidential Palace in Kabul, Afghanistan https://www.geocam.ru/en/on...ential-palace-kabul/ Interesting image grab I got from this cam of the Taliban using Kabul police vehicles:

Live PTZ webcam in Kabul, Afghanistan https://www.geocam.ru/en/online/kabul-ptz/ The video and audio is still up for this webcam and you can hear explosions, sporadic gunfire in the distance, traffic noise and some occasional voices. The huge Afghan national flag that was flying up on the Bala Hissar is now gone....the bare flag pole remains.

Just as his voters own him. He represents them and speaks for them.

If you are a veteran and enrolled at the VA you have probably already received this email today like I did:

DAMN STRAIGHT a lot of veterans are wondering whether their sacrifice was worth it.
ALL Afghanistan and Iraq veterans VOLUNTEERED.
They weren't drafted, and a good many of them stepped up and volunteered right after 9-11
Many of their families sacrificed time after time as they served numerous deployments.[This message has been edited by randye (edited 08-16-2021).]

Afghanistan is far far FAR away to many Americans. The little circles of insulation/isolation that they draw around themselves is intact and anger proof.
When is the latest model IPhone coming out? Who is getting married to who and who is banging who?

Sad but true. America has a short memory, and it shows.
This is only my opinion, but it seems like biden wanted some type of credit for closing the books on the Afgan 9,11 conflict. With the anniversary coming up, he wanted to make a big victorious pat me on the back speech over the withdrawal. Turns out his speech was premature and no pat on the back. He quickly slithered away to lick his wounds. A no questions asked moment. If the media can't find him, they should seek out the VP and question her instead.
