How did he register? Does he have a membership card? Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Mitch McConnell, Liz Cheney are all Republicans.

| quote | Buffalo's population is growing for the first time in 70 years, according to the 2020 census, defying both the predictions of local demographers and the longtime cultural and economic narrative of the Western New York region.
The city’s population grew to 278,349 people from 261,275 in 2010, its first such gain since the 1950 census. Erie County, meanwhile, grew from 919,040 to 954,236 people over the same period – a change split almost evenly between Buffalo and its suburbs, particularly Amherst, Lancaster, Hamburg and Clarence.
The Western New York region’s gains – driven entirely by residents of color, many likely refugees and immigrants – appeared to vindicate local political leaders who have championed immigration as a means for reversing the area’s long-term shrinkage.
Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown credited the city’s efforts to attract new Americans, as well as affordable housing and low taxes, with sparking growth in the city again. |

There's more online.
"Census data shows Buffalo growing for first time in 70 years" Caitlin Dewey for the Buffalo News; August 12, 2021. https://buffalonews.com/new...23-3f09381360f1.html
I like the Bills, as they are, in Buffalo.

Unfortunately, it's growing with the wrong type of people.
From a recent report: "With a crime rate of 44 per one thousand residents, Buffalo has one of the highest crime rates in America compared to all communities of all sizes - from the smallest towns to the very largest cities."
Thats what happens when you throw affordable housing into the mix. The entire city becomes a crime-ridden, ghetto shithole.
Hell, Ron you live in the Bay Area along with myself. You see what Oakland has turned into over the last 10 years.[This message has been edited by IMSA GT (edited 08-13-2021).]

It's been ages since I last set foot anywhere in Oakland.
Has it really become even worse during the last 10 years, or just remained at generally the same level of bad?
