Sourmash, when I closed my personal 401K, I couldn't roll it into the one I inherited from my late wife. I was not an employee of her company and can't invest. I can only ride out the market or trade. I just can't invest more, even if I had it to invest. |

Gamestop is just a tool right now to bring to light what Hedge fund companies have been doing and getting away with. Right now I would move everything I could into non volatile stocks or bonds.
It's going to get bumpy.

I don't think any regulatory action will be required. It will eventually quench itself and it will happen in a very ugly way most likely sooner rather than later.[This message has been edited by maryjane (edited 01-31-2021).]

A little more than an hour ago I received a bulletin that Robinhood had lifted trading restrictions on 42 companies but Gamestop, Koss Corporation, AMC Entertainment Holdings, Express Inc., Naked Brands Group, Genius Brands International, BlackBerry Limited, and Nokia Corp. didn't make the cut.
From Fox Business News:
According to the company's support page, investors will be limited to 10 shares and 10 options contracts of AMC, 700 shares and 700 options contracts of BlackBerry, 20 shares and 20 options contracts of Express Inc., 1 share and 5 options contacts of GameStop, 600 shares and 600 options contracts of Genius Brands International, 2 shares of Koss Corp., 600 shares of Naked Brands Group and 2,000 shares and 1000 options contracts of Nokia Corp.
