You can doubt whatever you wish, but I did not claim the majority of meats came from Tyson processors.
Tyson processes 1 out of every 5 lbs of beef, chicken and pork in the US.

One of the things people miss is that not all processors slaughter, cut pack and sell their own meat. Much of what is sold by the #6 and below ranked processors (packers) is purchased from the 3-5 top teir companies of Tyson, JBS and Cargill as either frozen boxed meat, or partially processed whole 1/2 chilled carcasses.

Tyson no longer owns SaraLee, Vanns, or Chef Pierre.

JBS is a south American Company, Smithfield is now owned by the Chinese WH brands, and one of the oldest US processors (National Beef) is 51% owned by another S. American (Brazil) company called Marfrig.

Yeah, Tyson has a lot of employees by count and avoiding them is key.
So how do you buy your meats? I'm assuming you raise beef? But pork, chicken, lamb?
I hate Tyson and always will since the days of the Slick One as well as their illegal alien scheming.

Yes. I raise beef.

I don't buy much chicken or pork and never buy lamb.
Mostly buy at Costco now if forced to but I prefer to buy it all, where the girl brings it to me at a table and it's already cooked and plated.
Just the 2 of us here now, so it's almost always beef if I have any say in it.
I do keep lots of meat here in the freezer, but I probably don't buy it any differently than most people here in OT.
Whether I buy beef at the grocer or eat one of my own is usually dependent on what I have walking around and what it's worth alive versus what it would cost me to buy at grocer.
The profit margin for a small producer like myself is very slim.
