It will be a very short ride. Joe Biden has not been allowed to drive on a public road in over a decade.

I actually would be all for the Miura....I think it is the most beautiful car ever. But my personal choices would be....

De Tomaso Pantera....My Dentist bought one back in 1972 and that turned me into a car nut....

And Bailey Quarters from WKRP....(The actress name is Jan Smithers)

Too many to choose from...exactly like ice cream. Is there a favorite?
I couldn't come up with a wrong answer but I could stare at her for an hour. Someone will recognize her.
Cold late night so long ago,

The De Tomaso Pantera is nice (and beefy) but I'm a sucker for too much tupperware. I'd prefer the GT5-S version. Jan Smithers was hot. Not so much these days since she's dead. (Breast cancer, maybe?)

Monkeyman- You almost gave me a heart attack! Jan is still alive.....
The one thing about the Pantera that I find really interesting is....It is the only car in the world that looks BETTER with the 5 mph bumpers.....Great job of styling them into the car while the early bumperettes were just.....stu-pid....
My dentist could have pulled a tooth without administering Novocain with my looking at that Pantera....

I got to ride in a Pantera in 1972 as a teenager. Loved them ever since.

A friend of mine runs a Mustang Shop (Mike Maier's Mustangs in Livermore) He has a '66 Mustang that he has highly modified (Pushrod rear spring setup w/ Coil-overs in the trunk) and also a Roush Nascar racing engine w/ 800 hp (Yes it is extremely fast; He competes in the Ultimate Street car Challenge- Came in 6th a few years back against some Z06s and Dodge Vipers)
I wonder what a Pantera would be like with a Roush 800 hp V8 in it? (I know that someone years ago installed a 427 SOHC in a Pantera)

The rich kid at high school drove his dad's Pantera to school once or twice. The lower tail area looks like they didn't know what to do with it, but it's not even close to being a deal killer. They were having to turbocharge them in the 80s and 90s to keep up with current power levels (bigger hammer). Today it's easier to make them keep up.
