Find them hard to hold on to and play. How does it sound? Always wanted to build a hollow body head less guitar. Just need to find a good donor. Guess you know what I would be doing to it if I found it in a thrift store.
Most of the stuff we find it pretty ratty and they want too much for it.

Blackrams, if that's a lyrics test, I failed and shame myself.
Never saw that movie, but that red one is what this one was. Thank you.
It's easier to play it sitting in an armed recliner than a regular guitar, but yeah, standing up it feels odd. You won't bang lamp shades or stick it into the ceiling fan. Mike Rutherford of Genesis was the first notable one to have a full body made for one of these. Steinberger should've formed a flare at the nut to give something to hold onto and be able to hang it on a String Swing hanger.
The compactness of it makes the forward knob interfere with my flailing, so you have to aware of that. It's always played unplugged because the cat is conditioned to flip and hide when the amp comes on. I like him hanging around instead. Getting a good sound from any amp and guitar is beyond me too. I only know it when I hear it. Five months of lessons at 15 and no progress since makes it an ornament more than anything. I know how guitar is setup and played but can't really play it. Down Payment Blues, couple of Aerosmith, Stranglehold, Cold Shot SRV, Make it Last Montrose, Barracuda riff and that's all I have.
The neck is just plain straight. Stable as can be. No curve at all. Needs a very light dressing. If not, then maybe a couple of frets to make it perfect. The last player had a heavy right hand by the looks of the bridge and pickups. Plugged in, there is a hum to chase down. I soldered one broken input jack connection. Active EMGs shouldn't hum. Must be a ground issue because it stops when you touch the metal cord jack. Maybe it's the cord.
These thrift stores here are like Goodwill that only take donations. They'll bring a truck and take away your stuff for you if there's something they can sell. So someone gave them this. Wish there was a story that came with it. Before this I got an 80s set-neck Hondo in the pic below for, seems like it was 35-50 bucks. Korean, though. There are 15+ guitars around here. I just like them.

Good advertising! But the rest of the story is the drummer is just gonna steal the guitar player's girl and make a 2 girl sandwich with her.

Whoa, that's bascist!
Back in the VCR days we recorded a couple of our shows. Our bass player was quitting so the new guy was watching the tape. He had one question after watching. "Who glued the bass players feet to the floor?" You could fast forward and the bass player never moved from his spot. Everybody else is moving, people are dancing and he never budges.[This message has been edited by sourmash (edited 12-06-2020).]
