Sounds good to me. If you want to jump in line to trust some rushed drug from big pharma companies that have been racing to be the 1st so they can make billions, go for it, you do you.

I'll wait until I know its not going to have series negative effects before I decide to put some new drug into my body. It's not about a lack of courage, its about a lack of trust in the motives of these companies to rush out a drug that normally takes years, in a matter of months and not cut corners or test it properly. If it turns out to be safe, once its available to the public ill be happy to take it.

It’s fine. 99.9% survival rate. No need for you to step up. Others will test it for you. You can rest assured you are still special.

I'm no more or less "special" than you.. A little less spiteful maybe, but not special.

Oh, you're safe Jonesy. You do you.
There have been plenty of volunteers selflessly stepping up to the plate to help prove the 4 front running vaccines are safe. (There are over 40 different organizations currently conducting trials worldwide)
There are at least 3 people on PFF that signed up for one or another Covid19 vaccine trial that I am aware of.
I won't divulge their usernames.

Globally, this represents the major trials in Phase 3 testing.

Certain death? Hardly.
Approximately 16 million Americans wore the uniform in WWII, and 290,000 died in combat. So, just under 2%. Another 115,000 died non-combat deaths, so now you're up to 4%.

The odds change*, of course, depending on where - or if - you saw combat. 70,000 soldiers, mostly Marines, served on Iwo Jima, for example, and 10% of them were killed.

From National WW2 Museum stats:
8.6 out of every 1000 servicemen in uniform were killed, which = 0.86%.
And, the reality is that not all volunteered to put on those uniforms and storm the beaches either. Most did not. From the same source:

PROFILE OF US SERVICEMEN (1941-1945)
38.8% (6,332,000) of U.S. servicemen and all servicewomen were volunteers
61.2% (11,535,000) were draftees
Average duration of service: 33 months
Overseas service: 73% served overseas, with an average of 16 months abroad

Iraq/Afghanistan?

*The same applies to Covid. Where you happen to be located and your personal health circumstances play a big part in how well you survive it or even whether you contract it or not.

I've seen far more people claim they were afraid of the vaccine than say they were afraid of catching the disease itself.

Not so much the vaccine, or idea of the vaccine ....Bill gates and the globalists behind it. They make no secret of their agenda.

Ever heard of John Galt ?

Lets just see how well that "globalist socialism" works out.....when the producers refuse to produce.
