Just got my Stribog A3 yesterday and took it to the range today (Page 2/4)

Nice collection, but according to the official FN website the Five-seveN has a "One-piece machined steel slide
Polymer cover"
So yeah. The slide is not polymer.

I am an FN fan though. I love my FNS-9C and it's fully ambidextrous controls. Super reliable.

Are you going to SBR your PS90? Too bad the NFA and ATF have to ruin all the fun.

Yeah the ATF is insane. I'm happy my Stribog is a pistol so I don't have that issue and the brace is very sturdy and comfortable. I think I'll buy an ACR stock and modify it with a tailhook brace and throw it on. It's expensive but fairly popular in the Stribog community.

Yes, the ATF is insane. Also since I live in Michigan, I have to be careful and make sure I don't break any of their rules. I have to register my handguns and other things here. And unlike the feds, they measure rifles at the shortest fireable length, so I didn't get a folding stock for my AK to avoid any issues there.

I will get a suppressor for my FNX though. Last time I had the extra cash, the one I wanted was sold out.

I never heard of these Stribogs, I am going to have to look into them.

I didn't know Michigan was that crazy. Down in NC it's pretty decent. Just need a pistol purchase permit or a CCP to buy pistols. And the Stribogs come with folding braces so be aware of that.

The A3 is delayed blowback and just came out last month and Mr Guns and Gear did a review of it and it had quite a bit of malfunctions and people are freaking out about it. I decided to get one anyway and it's fantastic. I used some Blazer and Herters 115gr FMJ. I paid $1200 for it, which is steep, but I figure I'm "saving" money by not shooting 5.56. Not only that, but they're made is Slovakia and depending on how the election goes in November, Biden might issue an executive order banning the importation of "assault weapons." So it'd be wise to get one sooner rather than later.

I've been considering a SIG MPX. Probably buy one when I sell my SIG full size RX.

The ATF rules regarding SBRs are silly. Putting a brace on it and calling it a pistol is so much easier.

Here's a shot of my 9mm AR pistol.

I hand selected the parts, and assembled them myself. It took some trial and error to get it reliable. But now it runs everything I feed it, from 115 to 147 grain... FMJ, hollowpoints, subsonic, supersonic, +P+, etc. I'm kinda proud of that.
