His position hasn't changed in 10-15 years. He's been among the top statesman in the world.
He's always been an effective leader. Trump was almost completely ineffective.[This message has been edited by sourmash (edited 12-08-2021).]

Another problem is they aren't vaccines.
They increase the spread if they do actually reduce symptoms when you do contract the virus. It isn't a reason to not get the vaccine but it is part of the lie people try to spin about spreading the virus when they want to blame the unvaccinated. Honestly if you wanted to do the best to limit the spread, you'd be keeping the vaccinated home and letting people with antibodies work.
The more symptomatic you are, the more likely you are too stay home. This is why the variants become less and less destructive, the most symptomatic diseases simply don't spread as easily.
Because we knew from day one COVID could be spread asymptomatically, it was not hard to figure out how fast it was going to spread. In fact, initial infection numbers are super deceptive, they ramped up when testing started, the virus was well establish before that. I gave a 3 day window of when the first COVID cases would be reported in Dallas just because I knew it was likely already here, I knew when testing started and I knew he many days it took to get results. I nailed it.
There are some new "vaccines" on the way that show promise, with any luck they will have a much better efficacy rate than the current shots. It'll still never justify mandates and lockdowns.[This message has been edited by jmbishop (edited 12-09-2021).]

 "I hear you."
I like what I read about the Covid vaccine candidates that a company called "Icosavax" had been bringing along. It's been some time, though. I don't know how any of it stands, currently. https://icosavax.com/vlp-vaccine-pipeline/#IVX-411

I profess no actual scientific or medical insight into this, whatsoever--I just liked what I read about it, as a layperson in this context, and something of a Covid vaccine "maven." I perceived it as "edgy" and "pushing the envelope."[This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 12-09-2021).]
