The ruling class doesn't want Americans to own guns, but they just gave nearly a half million semi- and full- automatic rifles to people who have vowed to kill us all.

We are we. THEY are they. They don't want us to have.

Looks like one of the first things Taliban did was confiscate the Afghan public's firearms

(the ad in the beginning ends at 1:25)

What about ISIS? The public won't need to defend themselves, against anyone, ever?

...

Similarities to what some folks want to happen here in the USA.

I question the "truthiness" of this image meme.

I've seen the videos of Taliban clad in Western-style military outfits and gear, but that would seem to be inventory that they confiscated directly from Afghan Army stockpiles.

As far as the armored vehicles, military fixed wing aircraft and helicopters that the U.S. has abandoned--all rendered unusable by the Taliban, according to the reports that I've seen. The U.S. destroyed or removed critical parts of these abandoned military vehicles and aircraft that the Taliban should not be able to replace.

That completely ignores the half million firearms and hundreds of Ford pickups.

Now what do you think a band of cave dwelling terrorists can make better use of: a C-130 or a rifle and a pickup?

Well . . . I'll take your word for it. I can't do my own fact checking at this moment.

Depends on whether their objective is to terrorize inside the borders of Afghanistan, or outside the borders of Afghanistan.
