Do you know if there is a mod to do to the headlight plastic, in order to make them look more real?
I always found that they are what gives away a model in photographs.

I don't, but checking out some builds at www.modelcarsmag.com might help ya out. These guys/gals are amazing with detail and they're mostly working with 1/24-1/25 scale too. There are other scales as well to check out.

WARNING You can spend hours just checking out all of the builds and finished model threads.

One that I'm working on for a friend. It's a return for a favor he did for me.

I don't have a before pic ( I'm bad about that ). Road Legends 1969 T/A with suspension drop, GMP Street Fighter Nova wheels/brakes, LS1 from a '99 T/A, seats from a '03 Vette, and a little paint detailing. I've made brackets for the rear calipers, but haven't downloaded a pic. Still working on the fronts.

I have more pics, but the image hosting site is absolutely stupid!!

Some I've bought over the last few months.

Any body else? 2.5...........get to it!!!!

Finally finished the 1969 T/A for a friend. I've already posted a few pics back of the WIP, but here is what I started with and the finished product.

I did touch up the blue on the hood stripe as well as the spoiler (just forgot to take that pic)

Now that this is done I have a Plymouth Prowler to strip and paint solid black for a customer and a full strip and repaint of a 57 Chevy for another. I'll post those when they start.

C'mon, Jason!!! It's cold and I know ya got snow, so get that GS together.

Though it doesn't look like I did much to this car, it was quite extensive other than a total repaint. Cutting of the frame, spacers for the spindles as well as making extensions on the studs for the spindles, bending aluminum tube for part of the exhaust, cutting and filling the seats, caliper brackets, battery cables, and paint detail.

Good stuff kyunderdawg! I see lowering spacers on that one I think

Since I acquired a real 87 GT Fiero with a TPI V8 in it last year, its been sucking up my time working on it and I haven't finished the Buick 1:18. Plus now that its winter I have to heat up the garage to paint anything...interior, etc. So ..delays.

But I also found a fastback 1:25 scale plastic Fiero GT model from AMT. Then I found a 1:25 scale Vette with a TPI, so I am going to put the TPI V8 in the Fiero and paint it like my real car. The Fiero model isn't built yet either. So my next project will likely be starting the assembly and engine swap/placement process for that.

Haha that's understandable.

I have a 1/25 85 Fiero GT still in the box and I finally found the 1:18 diecast Yat Ming Fiero a few weeks ago.

I should be able to get some body mods started and with any luck completed this cold season on the Ram truck. Cross your fingers

I think the 85 GT diecast I have is "Road Signatures"? I believe they made a silver and a red one.
