This is the way everyone should look at the vaccines.......But, we KNOW that EVERYTHING in this country must now be politicized.
I hate the mandates- but realize they are a necessary evil to help A) Keep the general population alive and B) Keep our economy running.
Just talked to a friend of mine; His neighbor's family are good, god-fearing Christians who don't believe in the vaccine/science crap....The whole family(8) caught Covid and the man's mother died......I see a lot of people who say "I ain't getting no shot" and then later saying "I wish I'd gotten the shot- I miss my (X)..."

Since the advent of television broadcasting, the face and voice of a single man can become synonymous with a momentous national crisis or event--or even a "storied" sports franchise.
Edward R. Murrow's face and voice on the CBS television network became the nation's most potent antibody against a virus-like pandemic that struck America in the 1950s. It was a pandemic of reactionary extremism--a "Red Scare" ginned up by the likes of the notorious Republican Senator from Wisconsin, Joe McCarthy. In March of 1954, Murrow what many describe as his most powerful anti-McCarthy broadcast. It endures to this day as just over 120 seconds of video on YouTube.
When NASA's Apollo 11 mission culminated in the first human footsteps on the moon, on July 20, 1969, almost half of the nation's 57 million TV sets were turned to CBS and Walter Cronkite.
Major League Baseball's Los Angeles Dodgers and Vin Scully . . . we can stop right there.
It's only a small exaggeration to say that for many Americans, the face and voice of the "real deal" on Covid is not the world famous "Dr. Fauci." It's Vin Gupta, from the University of Washington. Vin Gupta, MD, MPA, MSc. Vin Gupta, Affiliate Assistant Professor of Health Metrics Sciences at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation. Vin Gupta, practicing pulmonary clinician, who has seen and treated Covid patients since the start of the pandemic.
Just a few days ago (November 29), Dr Gupta reminded the MSNBC television audience that when it comes to the Covid vaccines, "It's staying out of the hospital, stupid." Dr Gupta explains why it is not reasonable to "diss" the Covid vaccines, merely because a vaccinated person can suffer a breakthrough infection. Every vaccinated person that suffers a breakthrough Covid infection but doesn't need to be hospitalized for Covid is a success for whatever Covid vaccine regimen they were vaccinated with.
I hope you enjoyed this "broadcast" as much as I enjoyed bringing it to you.[This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 12-05-2021).]

No they are not. People have a choice to get it or not. The science has said that if you are at risk, you should get it. People choose (and rightfully so) to get it or not. The consequences are on them. People need to open their eyes to the truth. Mandates do not save lives, people making the right choices save lives.....or end them. The economy has only been handicapped by stupid lockdowns and restrictions. The evidence suggests that the unrestricted States have a healthier economy and the democrat States are retarded in growth and "recovery". FACT.

It doesn't matter if they believe in vaccines or not, the fact is that some people are much more susceptible than others. To think that EVERYBODY is the same is ridiculous.

Everyone should be able to detect he fabricated the tale. It reads like an 8th grade fantasy. That's what he does with most all topics here.
And the shots are not vaccinations. Some people I know have had covid. They see no reason to get an ill prepared shot when they already have natural immunity.
Edit: and they're right. Plus they have common sense that fewer and fewer people have.[This message has been edited by sourmash (edited 12-06-2021).]

Which makes sense. What is odd is they market it as slowing or stopping the spread.

Its a "complicated issue" whether or not the Omicron is more spreadable or more deadly...cause you know...if we say it isnt people won't be scared....

Side question, why did they name it Omicron, (the fifteenth letter of the greek alphabet)? Was this the fiftteenth variant?[This message has been edited by 2.5 (edited 12-06-2021).]

Well, they couldn't very well name it after the fourteenth letter, now could they?

The answer.[This message has been edited by williegoat (edited 12-06-2021).]

A) The death rate among unvaccinated (Who actually contract Covid) is around 5%......So if you put that against the whole US population, you would have 16 million dying from the Covid. Instead, we have under 1 million dead. Lock-downs and isolation, and vaccines are working.
B) "It's the CHINESE virus! The dirty chinese commies are trying to murder us all!" is your basic BS claim.....Question; Why would China start the Virus in their own country? Instead, maybe someone wants to do in America AND China- while splitting us so we will never help each other. But that would only really help Vlady- who is the right's big hero (Now)
Note; Why did Italy get hit so hard with Covid? Is it because the Italians are stupid? Or would it have a connection to the fact that just before the covid epidemic the Italian government had caught one of their own playing paddy cakes with the Russians to try to take over the italian government?
Note; Why, when the "Virus started in Wuhan, China!!!" did a cruise ship in the CARRIBEAN have to be quarantined early on? (Cruise ships are a perfect way to spread an epidemic- but this cruise ship did not have ANYTHING to do with China)[This message has been edited by cvxjet (edited 12-06-2021).]

When only majority White countries are targeted for invasions and 'our' intelligence agencies state that White domestic terrorism is 'our' greatest threat, why would anyone assume China is behind this covid deal? [This message has been edited by sourmash (edited 12-06-2021).]
