MPLS. Essentially "addressable point to point". There are about a zillion of them. LECs don't matter. The circuit is purchased from ONE provider who, in turn, deals with the LECs. Pick one to hack. Even if you have the right address, it'll get you access to exactly *one* location. That's assuming you can get in, and assuming you can decode the protocol and know what to do with it. Which is doubtful. The worst you could do is drop the link, which happens occasionally, anyway. All in a day's work.
Edit - for all the broadband pipes (leased or "in house" - it really doesn't matter) there are VPNs. - Virtual Private Networks. All encrypted. And all firewalled from everything else at multiple locations. All of our devices - even the really boring, mundane ones - are encrypted. All I'm going to say.[This message has been edited by Raydar (edited 05-14-2021).]

Yeah i don't worry about fuel hikes as much, since they tend to be temporary (usually) .. But i worry more about everything else that goes up in correlation to the fuel prices.. Like food prices. It always seems food prices go up when fuel prices go up.. The fuel prices go back down, but food prices stay right were they are.

How do people even remotely justify the risk of getting gasoline in plastic bags?
How do they get it out of the bags without spilling?[This message has been edited by maryjane (edited 05-15-2021).]

If you only have a car that takes premium fuel, it's a little less egregious an offense to stock pile some gas.
The people shown in the photo run risk of a code violation for "dispensing fuel" from a residence.
