A thought about the center console/shift surround that you're working on.
Have you considered making the surround and the top trim surround all one piece? It could go over the original plastic surround to keep the placement of the window.mirror switches and the ash trays.. People could then just get it painted or powder coated instead of having to worry about re-covering it with leather... Just a thought.
Also, with the dash trim pieces, is there a way to make it so the screws would be counter sunk like the original plastic parts?

I can make the shifter surround one piece, however not sure how to attach it. As for the dash pieces since it is out of 18 ga there isn't much to counter sink unless I can find a washer that is offset. I will have to see what I have at work on the punch press. Maybe I can look into special tooling to counter the hole.

I'm too impatient. Here is my order All in a #4 finish.
Aux Gauge surround, Stereo A/C surround
Gauge Surround With "Pontiac" instead of "Fiero" if possible. In "Dodger" Font

Let me know if this will be possible
Thanks

Now that I look at this I think that a pocket could be formed and be very durable for a map pocket. My only problem right now is I am getting tired of looking at stainless. Anybody have any ideas on wrapping the interior parts with vinyl, leather, or cloth? I have a nice shifter surround that should be covered. And I think that the whole center console could be formed quite easily, but it needs covering with something. Let me hear your 2 cents.

Are you looking for the 87mm to stay on stock centers? And the 52mm centered on and between the middle rectangles? Price will be $15.00 plus shipping probably in the $12.00 range.
