Finally got around to getting my front wheels widened and refinished.
First I had to take them to a local wheel shop to get them split.

Then came a stroke of luck,.... a fellow choptop owner ( thanks Mack) also with HRE wheels had the size lips I wanted and I had the ones he wanted, so we swapped ! Saved us both about $600 !

From there I had them reassembled and then picked up some new rubber.

All 4 wheels now a match !

"Lip spoiler", is that what those are called now? I'd say I'd take one of her, but at my age, I don't know what I'd do with her (nor, I imagine, would she know what she'd do with me.)

Big wheels, need big brakes.
Started the upgrade project by first getting my hands on some C6 brake calipers and rotors.

Brian’s Sanburn’s brake adapter kit was next on the checklist.
