I was thinking of switching out the pop up lights for some smooth fit lights but couldn't find any of the style I like on the internet but found these at Napa(linked below) and was wondering if they'd fit without cutting any panels, hood, or fenders. Because I don't know the measurement of stock C4 headlights and can't find anything online. I'm not worried about mounting I can come up with my own thing.

It is doubtful that these flush headlights would fit the Fiero, A while ago there were two different headlight conversions for the Fiero. One was the Munson system while the other looked similar to the one in the picture that you posted. Last month a member was selling the Munson style headlights but I'll need to search to provide you the info. ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite. You are not going to find a flush mount kit for another car that will fit a fiero w/o lots, and lots of work. Here are several of them that have been done in the past:

I think these are aftermarket Rx7 or 3000GT headlights:

This was a bolt in kit offered by Embrace Racing, but have been discontinued - some are still available NIB, but they are not cheap.

Here is a drop down version circa 2002. This was more of a mock up, I don't think this ever made it to be a kit.

It would no doubt depend on the jurisdiction and applicable motor vehicle laws... but I suspect that some/all of those flush mount headlights on a Fiero would fail inspection and/or would disqualify an insurance claim in the event of an accident. It's something to consider/research before taking the plunge. Flush mount headlights wouldn't be legal here in BC, as the required height for headlights is the height of raised (factory) Fiero headlights.

Many of the photos of different headlight systems certainly look nice but since most of our cars are exhibited mainly at car shows, cruise nights, and special events, the headlights are hardly ever raised up. Just an opinion but since the headlights are down on my Fiero 95% of the time, I just changed out the sealed beam units to Truck-lites for better performance. ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite. Thanks everyone for the responses I really appreciate it! I won't be getting flush lights after the mention of it being illegal I really don't want to risk being ticketed. But I was just going to upgrade the stock lights so I can see at night and thought new buckets and such would be a good aesthetic mod. But looks like I'm going to stick to the popups and replace the bulbs. Again thanks!

In the US, the height requirements for headlights on vehicles is not vehicle specific, nor does it reference the top of the light. The federal requirements are for the center of the headlights to be between 22 and 54". https://www.ecfr.gov/curren...rt-B/section-571.108
Since the front wheels of most Fieros are 24.6" tall, then all lights with the center at or above the front tire would meet the 22" lower limit requirements in the states.[This message has been edited by fieroguru (edited 12-03-2024).]
