Hi I have a all stock 1988 Fiero GT I need new springs ing the rear any suggestions for getting a pair I’m in New York in the United States?

FYI - the rear of a '88 has struts, not springs.....

Well, there are springs on the struts and those springs are replaceable without replacing the hydraulic strut. I've replaced just the spring on my 87, which is what I assume Fixer2 is wanting to do.

My experience is that the springs rarely need replacing. It's the struts that wear out. And keep in mind that replacement struts will offer resistance while being compressed (and on the rebound), whereas the original struts only offered resistance on the rebound. In other words, new struts will make the old springs seem much stiffer.

where can I get new struts for my 88 GT I was mistaken thinking it is sagging in the rear so the springs are worn out and this is making the tire lean in at the top so it handles terrible .

Sounds like the camber is way out. A wheel alignment after the new struts are installed should correct that.

Before you do this, check and see if you have coil-overs installed. If that's the case you may be able to adjust the height of the suspension. Also check rebound on hydraulic struts. If they are original, they should be replaced . They are 36 years old.

...and Patrick has an excellent point. Get an alignment on the rear suspension (and the front). Worth the monney in tyre wear alone.

Moons ago, I put KYB GR-2 Shocks on the front of my '88 GT, and Monroe Sensa-Trac Struts on the rear.

Sagging rear can be iffy aftermarket "coil overs" but other things can cause it or seem to cause it & that's ignoring crap "lowering" of a car...
Sometimes isn't the rear w/ whatever problem but something wrong w/ front of car making rear look bad.
Example: Some twit put Gas Shocks on front & still have crap Factory Non-gas Struts. Any Gas units adds some "spring" to the axle & often sit a bit higher w/ many cars.

Ideally you want shocks & strut replace @ same time w/ same level of product by 1 brand. But "people" put new shocks w/ old struts, gas & non gas, 2 brands, & more bad mixes & then claim car is crap.

For Fiero & other old cars, Monroe, Gabriel & some others offer several levels of shocks & strut... say cheap & good Standard then better & premium Gas... Even "minor" differences between level of standard or gas units often does weird things to the vehicle. Worse when Mix standard & gas often "hates" you even when all are made by 1 company. When mixing Brands even when all Gas, the 2 brands have way different valves, gas pressure, oil specs & more issues & won't play well w/ each other.
