I have a 1988 V6 GT automatic with only 27K miles on it. I have put approximately 2K Miles on it in the two months I have owned it. I replaced the air filter, fuel filer, PVC, temp sensor, Fan coolant sensor, fan relay, distributor o ring, cap rotor, wires and plugs. all parts are AC Delco. The issue I have is it idles at 1500 when started cold and finally settles down to lope between 850 and 1200 RPM. When I disconnect the EFR there is no effect on the engine. I would appreciate any advice you have. The car is getting 20 plus miles per hour and runs very well.

The first suspect with a car like that is bad grounds. 27k miles tells us the car has been sitting a lot, and corrosion may be the issue. What is EFR?
