I can’t figure out where this pipe connects, does it go near the firewall?

I already put the engine in. Can this be put in or should separate the car again? I don’t seen mounting holes for the spots that are on this bracket

That tube runs down the firewall. Looking at the engine from the trunk it runs from the top-right side down to the bottom-left side, where the hose connection is in the vicinity of the motor mount. There is no need to take the engine out again. If you 'search' the forum for 'coolant transfer tube' you will probably find a picture showing the mounting locations.

Here's a picture showing the top-right side. The tube connects to the hose that runs to the thermostat housing ...

Thank you! It also don’t help that I redid the engine bay insulation. I think I covered the holes for this pipe

Actualy that tube mounts to the front of the engine. The slotted bracket goes to one of the trans mount studs and the upper bracket screws to the mount for the upper dip stick location mount.

So it is better if I separate the engine from the car to get this in?
