Hello ther, I bought an 87 fireo gt 5 speed that has sat in a garage for about 20 yrs, an has 27,849 miles on it, recently i have been working on it and found that the drivers door sags an dosent line up to the body lines or door latch, the owner was had a bad hip so he use the door for a helper to get in or out of the car I know that the door pin bushing is shot, can the door hing bend?, its about a good inch out of alignment. any ideals on what i should do?

thanks so much for the help, lost my other fiero in the redding ca carr fire last summer, all was lost but had most parts in a storage unit, bought this other one but it needs a complet restorr,

Apparently not. But I must admit I am confused. Advice on fixing the door for car #1 is also good for car #2.

Sorry to hear about the loss, but I think we can be forgiven for thinking this was the same car.
