So this is not for a Fiero? What car are you working on, then?

Looking at buying a Fiero , found one that is clean but the manual 5 speed makes nut cracker like noises in gear.
I wasn't looking for a project, but this one looks well cared for and clean.
So, before I get over my head, I thought I'd ask about it first.

if you're serious about buying a Fiero, I highly recommend you download a copy of a FSM now while you know where it is, they are EXTREMELY useful

Oh, one more question.
Are parts avail. for rebuilding the 5 speed transaxle and/or diff.
I'd assume, the soft parts (seals/gaskets/synchronizers/bearings/bushings and other normal wear items.)
How hard is it to find hard parts, if a gear is shot, like missing a tooth/teeth.
Thanks again.
