I get it... I understand what he said, but also what's being inferred. There's very real fatigue when it comes to things like this... and what we say is not 100% what we actually think, especially when we're frustrated. The context of course is that there's legitimately a lot of people within this region that hates Jews, hates Israel, and even if they aren't part of Hamas, would quickly support Hamas at any opportunity.
There was a poll that was taken a few years ago. I can't find it now, not even going to try, but I hope you'll take my word for it. It compared the perception of Jews to those in Palestine, and whether they wanted Jews killed. I then compared this with data I found from Germany's population during WW2. What came from it is that citizens in the region of Palestine were more than 2x more likely to want all Jews dead and killed, than non-Jewish citizens living in Germany during WW2.
That really stuck with me... it made me realize in fact that the region may not ever recover. It's for this reason that explains why not a single other Muslim country wants anything to do with the people of Palestine, including Iran itself (who's been funding all of this).
So, I don't like death... I'm also against the death penalty and abortion... but damn if there aren't a lot of people who would check the box that Raydar is referring to.
